SellerChamp's channel integrations not just allows you to import and share listings among your marketplaces, but also maintain the quantity of the listings across the them.

In order to safeguard yourself from incurring additional insertion fees and from the listing to end, we recommend you enable the eBay out-of-stock option for all your Good'Til Cancelled - fixed price listings.

How this feature works?

When your listing quantity reaches 0 (whether due to sales on eBay or any other marketplace(s)), eBay will automatically hide that listing from all buyer searches. This prevents you from getting an order from an eBay buyer, even though there's no quantity in stock.

Using the out-of-stock option and keeping your listings hidden will allow those listings to retain their purchase and search history, so that when the item quantity is added again, over eBay or on any other marketplace (as long as you have your channel integrations configured) your listing will become available for sale on eBay again.

How to apply the out-of-stock option for all your Good 'Til Cancelled listings:

How to use the out-of-stock option

Your bulk listing will be shown to buyers until you've sold all your items. When the quantity runs out, the listing will end.

However, if you regularly restock that item, you can use our out-of-stock option to hide your listing from search results until you refill the quantity.

Here's how to enable the out-of-stock option:

  1. Scroll down to Multi-quantity listings and select the toggle beside Listings stay active when you're out of stock.

When you set up the out-of-stock option, the following will happen:

  • All of your existing and future bulk listings use the out-of-stock option until you disable it

  • When the quantity of the listing becomes 0 (either because all the items were sold, or you adjusted the quantity), your listing stays active but hidden from search results

  • The listing will reappear in search results when you increase the quantity of items available

  • You can still end your Good 'Til Canceled listing yourself at any time

Using the out-of-stock option on your Good 'Til Canceled listings may help protect you from receiving a transaction defect for running out of stock. Learn more about our seller performance standards.
