Along with assigning a location for your parent by itself, we've also added an option to enter a location for each individual variant, from within the manage variations pop up.

Step 1: Locate your parent SKU and click on the variant badge against the item

You'll now be displayed with the manage variant pop up

Under the Qty / Location column, you can add one or multiple locations for each individual variant.
