The "Field to Push" setting, accessible through advanced rules for each marketplace account, allows users to determine what information gets transmitted when a product is updated. This setting ensures flexibility and control over the data synchronization process.

Location:

The setting is located within the advanced rules section for each marketplace account. Users can access this configuration individually for different marketplaces to tailor their product update preferences.

Methods of Product Update:

Product updates can occur through various channels, including:

  • Sync from other channels

  • Manual product updates

  • Feed updates

  • Bulk uploads, and more

Available Options for the "Field to Push" Setting:

Full Update:

Description: This option is ideal for users who want to manage all product data inside SellerChamp and push the comprehensive set of information, including description, title, images, etc., from SellerChamp to the marketplace.

Use Case: Allows for centralized control and management of all product data within SellerChamp.

Quantity:

Description: This option is tailored for users who only want to push quantity information from SellerChamp to the marketplace. It ensures that alterations to product data directly on the marketplace are not overwritten during a product update in SellerChamp.

Use Case: Perfect for scenarios where users need to manage quantity centrally in SellerChamp while allowing direct adjustments to other product details on the marketplace.

Selling Price:

Description: Similar to the quantity use case, this option is designed for users who only want to push the selling price information from SellerChamp to the marketplace. It prevents SellerChamp from overwriting prices during a product update.

Use Case: Ideal for situations where users need to manage pricing centrally in SellerChamp while allowing direct adjustments to other product details on the marketplace.

None:

Description: Choosing "None" is suitable for users who want to use SellerChamp in demo mode. In this mode, no information is pushed to the marketplace during a product update, allowing users to explore and demonstrate SellerChamp's features without impacting live marketplace data.

Use Case: When users wish to use SellerChamp for demonstration purposes without affecting live marketplace information.

Important Note: If you have "Full Update" turned OFF and update the product title or description they will be overwritten during the overnight marketplace default refresh unless it's set to skip the daily refresh. Users should be mindful of this when choosing their update preferences to avoid unintentional overwrites.

How to Access:

Users can navigate to the advanced rules section for each marketplace account and locate the "Field to Push" setting. The user-friendly interface allows for easy selection of the desired update preference.
